§ 18-14. Handicapped parking spaces

It shall be unlawful for any person to cause, allow, or permit any vehicle registered in his name, or operated by him, to be parked, stopped, or standing in any designated handicapped parking space without having obtained vehicle license tags from the state department of highways and public transportation with a special number or identification indicating they have been issued to handicapped persons. The fine for unauthorized parking in a handicapped space shall be $100.00.
